Rebecca "Becky" Ann Pelt

Rebecca Ann “Becky” Pelt, 70, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2016. Memorial services will be held Saturday, December 31st at 11 a.m., at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating. Burial will be private. The family will meet friends following the service.

Ms. Pelt, daughter of the late Julius and Alta Agee McGlohorn, was born in Columbus and after moving to Macon graduated from Dudley Hughes. As a military wife, she travelled the country before returning to Macon. She was a stay-at-home mother, then worked in textile manufacturing before becoming the

caregiver to her mother. She was an avid Auburn Fan. She was preceded in death by her sister, Betty Hightower.

She is survived by her children, Julie Pelt Davis (Ted Sullivan), Jake Pelt (Cindy), Keith Pelt (Ami), and Chad Pelt (Brian); her grandchildren, Tony, Christopher and Joshua Vallio, Dylan, Austen and Kayla Pelt and Corey and Lacie Pelt; four great grandchildren; her sisters, Edna Cole (Steve), Gail Grover and Beverly Gilreath and nieces and nephews.
