Robin Hamilton Floyd, 68, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 15 at 11 a.m. at Vineville United Methodist Church with Dr. Jimmy Asbell officiating. Burial is private. The family will greet friends following the service in the church sanctuary. Robin was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Nancy Idell Hamilton and John Daniel Hamilton III. She was a registered nurse at The John Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Robin was a farmer and loved raising horses and dogs.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, W. Emerson Floyd IV of Athens and Hollis Hamilton Floyd of Macon; siblings, John Daniel Hamilton IV and Nancy Hamilton Healy; and former husband, Dr. Waldo Floyd III.
