

Ronald Franklin Curl, 72, died Saturday, June 8, 2013 in Thomaston, Georgia. Funeral Services will be on Wednesday, June 12 at 11:00 a.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono with Dr. Otis Andrews officiating. Burial will be at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 11th from 6 – 8 p.m. at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono.
Mr. Curl was born in Dublin, Georgia, the son of the late Jack Curl and Anna Marion Tipton Curl. He is retired after 37 years at Armstrong World Industries, Inc. Mr. Curl lived in Crawford County and served in the U. S. Army. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and golfer. Mr. Curl was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his loving spouse, Erna; his three daughters, Belinda Barron of Gray; Silvia Herring of Yatesville, Ramona King of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and his son, Monty Curl of Crawford County; grandchildren, James Barron, Heather Albrycht, Sarah and Micah Herring, Kyle and Cory King, and Eric and Jy Barron; his brother, Brady Curl of Canton, Georgia and sister, Claudia Curl of Fort Valley; several nieces and nephews and his beloved German Shepherd companion, Mac.
