Sara Elizabeth Lindsey

MACON – Sara Elizabeth Lindsey, 71, died Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in a local hospital. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with the Rev. Charles Osborne officiating. Burial will be in Snow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Alamo, Georgia at 2 p.m. The family will greet friends from 4 – 6 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Lindsey was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Beston Page and Genevieve Hartley Page.

Survivors include her husband of fifty-three years, Elijah Lewis Lindsey; her daughters, Sandra (Ted) Higgison and Shirley Foskey; granddaughter, Angel Sparks; five great grandchildren; her sister, Esther Defore and brother, Jim (Linda) Page.
