A graveside service for Mrs. Morley will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Cemetery, 66 Madison Street, Macon, Georgia 31201, followed by a visitation. Rev. Bruce Conn will officiate. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Shirley's memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675; and Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, New York 10306.
Mrs. Morley was born in Fayetteville, Missouri the daughter of the late Mary Ellen Graham Ivy and John Thomas Ivy. She was the widow of LTC Thomas Lee Morley and was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jane Morley. Mrs. Morley served alongside her husband fulfilling duties as an officers wife during their 20 years of marriage. After his death, she embarked on a 23 year banking career, retiring from Frist Union.
Mrs. Morley is survived by her children, Susan Jeanette Morley of Macon and Mary Beth Morley Conn (Bruce) of Gray; grandchildren, Andrew Bruce Conn, Morley Anne Conn, and Mary MacKenzie Conn.
Snow's Memorial Chapel, Cherry Street, has charge of arrangements.
