Danny's amps didn't stop at 10. They went to 11. He would never forgive me if I did not reference one of his favorite movies in his obituary. He haunted me enough in life...I sure don't want him disappointed with me for eternity. I loved Danny and Winnie very much. They were always honest, compassionate, and supportive friends regardless of the circumstance or person involved. I can't think about either of them without breaking out in to tears and laughter...sometimes at the same time and others with a delayed fuse. I hope both of them are floating around on clouds in heaven, eating frozen grapes, and pulling for the DAWGS and The Tide on Fall Saturdays to come. I learned much from both of those treasures and will never forget them!!!

Sincerely,
James T. Howell, Jr.

I am so sorry to hear about Danny. I knew Danny and Winnie since 1980. I worked with Winnie for many years at Aetna. We had a lot of fun times and Danny was always fun loving and generous. My heart goes out to his family.

Rest in Peace my friend. Danny and my husband, Stephen, have been friends since their college days in the early 70s. Danny was my husband best man in our wedding. Prayers and thoughts for Danny's family during this time of loss.

Danny was a member of the Cochran High School Class of 1967: I was in the Class of 1968. We became better friends after high school and both serving in the Navy.

Danny came to visit me about a year or so ago, hoping we could find his “class ring” that he thought was lost in a yard, in Cochran. We “searched”, but, didn’t find it.

I am very saddened to hear of his passing: he was a great person.
