

MACON – William T. Pike, 69, died peacefully surrounded by his family and dear friends on Monday, July 5, 2010. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Snow’s Memorial Chapel, Pio Nono Avenue with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. The Rev. Tommy Abney will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Pike was preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Abney Pike and his parents, Clarence Paul Pike and Leila Florence Morgan Pike. He was a lifelong resident of Macon and was retired from Environmental Services at the Medical Center of Central Georgia. Mr. Pike attended Real Life Church.
A loving father and grandfather, he will be missed by his daughter, Bridgette Pike (James Lee) Johnson of Gray, his son, Paul (Sandra) Pike of Macon; two grandchildren, Morgan Breanna Johnson and James Nathaniel Johnson, both of Gray and a number of nieces and nephews.
