She was born on October 18, 1919, in New Haven, the daughter of Julius and Barbara (Klein) Kohler.
She was the widow of Frank W. Shaw.
Mrs. Shaw was an alumni of Quinnipiac University.
Mrs. Shaw is survived by her nieces Barbara Jane Hill of Naknek, AK, Mary Beth Carter of Anchorage, AK, Sally Ann Croall of Dumfries, VA, Carol Ellen Long of Kill Devil Hill, NC, and Judith Rose Kohler of Southbury, CT; her nephews Paul Julius and Karl Steven Kohler, both of New London, CT; great and great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband she was also predeceased by her brothers Karl Bernard and Paul Julius Kohler.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday December 30th at 10am in St. Margaret Church, 24 Academy St., Madison. Burial will follow in West Cemetery, Madison.
