Camille Schiraldi

Camille Schiraldi, of Madison, CT and formerly of Seaford, Long Island, died on November 18th, 2015 in Madison. She was born on September 13, 1930 in Brooklyn, New York, the daughter of Joseph and Assunta(Susie) (Santamauro) Trotta.

Mrs. Schiraldi was the past president of the Nassau County Homakers and the local Chapter of AARP. She also was a volunteer for the Little Flower Children and Family Services Organization of New York for many years. One of her greatest loves was singing for others. Camille and her beloved husband of 62 years, Benedict Sr. were inseparable and enjoyed traveling around the world together and making many friends along the way. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother. Camille found joy and comfort when she was surrounded by family.

In addition to her husband, she is also survived by her loving children, Ben, his wife, Patty of Madison and Diane Vincent of Troy, NY; her brother, Gabriel Trotta and his wife, Joanne of NH; grandchildren, Michael, Laura, and Christopher Schiraldi and Edward and Kerri-Ann Vincent.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 24th from 9-11 am at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Road, Madison, CT. A funeral service will begin at 11am at the funeral home. A private burial for family will follow in West Cemetery, Madison.
