Debra Jean Gorman

Debra Jean Gorman, beloved wife of Thomas Gorman, passed away on February 1, 2026, at the age of 55. She was born on August 12, 1970, and grew up in West Haven, CT. Debra graduated from West Haven High School and worked at Empire Property Management.

Besides her husband Tom, Debra is survived by her beautiful daughter, Stephanie Wild. She is also survived by her beloved siblings; brother Collis Wrightington and her two sisters Geri Galin (John), and Cheryl Terrio (Michael Ardizzone). She is preceded in death by her Parents Collis and Geraldine Wrightington, and brother Timothy Wrightington.

Debra was laughter and music and sunshine. Her daughter was her very best friend and being her Mom brought her tremendous pride and joy. She met her soulmate in Tom and enjoyed every day of their life together. Debra loved and lived with all her heart. The baby of the family of 5 kids, she was free spirited and fearless. She will be missed by so many who loved her.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday February 5th from 4:00-7:00 PM at the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd. Madison, CT. A funeral service will be held on Friday February 6th at 11:00 AM in the Swan Funeral Home, Madison. Burial will take place at a later date in West Cemetery
