Gerry Knowlton

Gerry is survived by his wife Marcat (Lemley) Knowlton. He is also survived by his mother, Mary (Jenkins) Knowlton, of Madison and the late Jerry Knowlton.

Gerry graduated from Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree. For the past 35 years Gerry was involved in the sales of heavy equipment. He loved to play golf and entertain friends and family. Gerry moved to Old Saybrook ten years ago, but still calls Madison his home. Madison has lost a good friend.

Besides his wife he is survived by his son Geoffrey and wife Laura from Scituate, Massachusetts; a daughter Missy Knowlton of Clinton, CT; a brother Peter and his wife Maureen of Norfolk, Massachusetts; two sisters; Nancy Casula and her husband Justin of Guilford, CT; and Kathi Espostio and her husband Ellery of Crestwood, Kentucky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may visit Swan Funeral Home 825 Boston Post Road in Madison Wednesday June 11, 2014 from 4-8PM. A Mass of Christian burial to celebrate Gerry’s life will be held Thursday 11AM at St. Margaret Church in Madison.
