

Kornelia Bukovszky Keszler, born May 4, 1920, in Budapest, Hungary, died on October 23, 2016, in Madison, Connecticut. Sixty years earlier to the day, the Hungarian Revolution of October 23, 1956, had unexpectedly catapulted her, her husband, and her three children from her beloved Hungary to the United States. She marveled at life in the US and wholeheartedly embraced her adopted country.
Kornelia is predeceased by her husband, Julius L. Kezler, and her son, Julius Keszler, Jr.
She is survived by her daughter Kornelia Keszler Tscholl and son-in-law Ekkehard Tscholl, her son Charles Keszler and daughter-in-law Janet Keszler, grandchildren Charles Keszler, Jr., Kim Keszler Pinson, Andrea Tscholl Boren, Maria Tscholl, and Thomas Keszler, as well as great-grandchildren Rachel Pinson Thwing, Christopher Pinson, Daniel Keszler, Andrew Keszler, Alexandra Roesch, and Maximilian Roesch.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 26, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church, 24 Academy St., Madison, Connecticut, with burial to follow at West Cemetery in Madison.
