After graduating, she held several research jobs with Yale University in New Haven, CT. She and her husband Walter had an amazing love story that began one evening at Columbia Business School in NYC when Walter saw her across the room at a college mixer and ended with them at CT Hospice together in her last minutes. She loved her family dearly especially her beloved family dogs, Tad and Mr. Ginger, her ginger-haired Norwich Terrier. She was proud of her Scottish heritage and her natural red hair which she had to her last day. Even more special was having two red-headed grandkids to whom she passed her ginger coloring. She was an avid reader with a special passion for poetry, enjoyed photography, played golf and tennis, relished shopping for a bargain and loved the ocean views in both Madison, CT and Bonita Beach, FL.
