Shaun J. Lavin

Shaun J. Lavin 67 of Westbrook and Madison passed away November 4, 2011 at home. He was born July 26, 1944 in Bridgeport to Bernard and Anne Marie (Dowd) Lavin. Shaun is preceded in death by parents and sister, Maureen Sheridan. He is survived by loving wife, Maria (Currea) Lavin and children; Patrick Lavin and his wife Susan (Connelly) of Clinton and Erin (Lavin) Cooke and her husband Robert of Towson, MD, grandchildren; Margaret Lavin, Michael Lavin and Marley Cooke. Shaun is also survived by six siblings; Jerry Lavin of Sebastian, FL, Bernie Lavin and his wife Laura of Clinton, Dr. Billy Lavin and his wife Maryanne of Guilford, Kevin Lavin of Bridgeport, Mary Frances Sorge of Shelton, Patsy Puglia and her husband Patrick of Shelton and brother-in-law, Joe Sheridan Naples, Florida.

Shaun lived on the shoreline for over thirty years. He was the life of the party on and off the golf course. He made us all laugh and enjoyed life to the fullest. He was kind, caring and will be dearly missed by his many loving friends and family. His laughter will forever be in our hearts.

Family will receive friends from 3:30 to 7:30 PM Monday, November 7, 2011 at the Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Madison.
