I had the pleasure of knowing Budd as a co-worker at the GM Tech Center.  I am sorry to hear of his  passing.  Used to enjoy the many conversations with Budd as he was a big U of M football fan.  May  he rest in peace,  he will be missed.

Budd was my favorite softball dad.  He was always at Hamtramck, Oak Park,  and of course Port Hope. He would just sit back and watch the circus; Rocco, The Billage Idiot,  Freakshow, Sweetness,  Peaches, JoJo, and of course Buddy.  I'm gonna miss  ya Budd. :( 

 The thing that set Papa apart, what made him truly special, was his depth of love. For 21 years he loved my sons as if they were his own, and he made certain that they always knew it. Not a missed Birthday or Christmas, and he always made it a priority to give them the time needed to share and bond. He didn’t have to. We weren’t family. He chose to. He picked them. He picked us. He selflessly and consistently picked us. I will forever be grateful for that. My promise to you Papa, is to remind Duncan and Mason of the impact you chose to make in their lives, and to make sure they pay that forward. Thank you to the entire Marr clan for sharing this amazing man with us!

There was a lot of Drama going on when we were raising our families.Lots going on! Bud always had a sincere smile and a big Hug for me. Somehow he knew what to say and what not to say. He was caring. You know I'm a funny type of person.A true Jernigan.I don't let to many people in. Bud and I worked on a true bond. A Brother-in-law  one.I looked up to him.
After we made the hard move to Flushing,It was a real struggle trying to balance work and a home. BUD was my HERO. My family Hero. The way he made sacrifices of himself to include his Mother-in-law  into his life unconditionally  (Thank you Sonja for understanding)
I can't express my gratitude  enough for what he did for me when he took care of Grandma. They  built a bond like no other. I will miss your voice , your smile. I will miss you ZORRO.  LOVE 4 EVER  CINDY

Your family was such a big part of my childhood, my best memories your family was intertwined in. I was extremely sad when we moved away, it was like moving from family. My best memories of Bud were of Baseball, him teaching us how to throw and hit a ball going to watch him play baseball on his baseball league.  It also reminds me of  the neighborhood kids playing baseball in your back yard.  Most of all I remember him as this really big guy that was really kinda quite from what I remember. But then again, that was the early 70's . I am Thinking of you all and praying for peace and comfort for you as you say good bye. 

Always so nice. Both of your parents were great people.  I loved seeing your Dad, when ever i was with any of you. So very sorry for your loss all of you guys ( Mandi, Kerri and Buddy).  Prayers for your family. My deepest sympathies to you guys.

Dad I have so many memories that I will cherish for ever. I remember when we were kids and you came into the house after being at the Eagles. You looked at mom and yelled Batman and jumped on the couch. Mom was so mad at you because you broke the couch, but she laughed so hard because it was funny. I have so many stories that I will be able to share with Bob and the boys. You will live on in our hearts forever.miss you so much.

The dear brother of Nancy Haynes, Susie (Mike) Evosevich, and Janice Beatty.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
