Mrs. Christine "Betty" Whisnant, of Madison Heights, passed away on October 29, 2019, at the age of 86.

Beloved wife of David for 66 years; adored mother of Frances Weiss and David (Ramona) Whisnant, Jr.; proud grandmother of Tom, April (Ta), Chris ( Chester) , and Jessica (Tony); great-grandmother of Amber, Damien, Dominic, Emmy, Marcus, Rowan, and Jaden; cherished aunt of Patricia Swantek.

Betty was born on August 13, 1933 in Beckley, West Virginia to Harry and Frances Johnson.

The family will greet friends from 3:00pm-8:00pm on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Rd., Madison Heights. Funeral services will take place at 10:00am on Saturday, November 2, at the above location. Interment following at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy, MI.
