Daniel Joseph Kearney

Daniel was a devoted husband for just shy of 50 years to his beloved Terry Kearney; loving father to Jason (Ryan) Kearney and Lindsey (Bob) Hooton; cherished grandfather to Robert Hooton IV and Noah Hooton; dearest brother to Patricia (Dennis) Andre and the late Kathy Kearney.

In Daniel's free time, he enjoyed tending to his garden and took great pride in his lawn. While at home, he could often be found enjoying a Detroit Game, cheering on his favorite teams. Daniel also had a love for music, and it remained a steady companion throughout his life. His quiet passions, steady presence, and the comfort he found in things he loved will be remembered by all who knew him.

A visitation will be held at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, located at 30351 Dequindre Rd, Madison Heights, Michigan, 48071, on December 5, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm.

The committal service and burial will take place at Great Lakes National Cemetery, located at 4200 Belford Rd, Holly, Michigan, 48442, on December 12, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
