I’m just sick. Such a sweet  girl, so full of life. She loved her kids and grandkids so much. I hope you find peace D. Fly high, friend.

I'll always remember the time when Doug and Tab were living with me and you came by. We talked for about an hour and before you left you grabbed my hand. We normally hugged so I was wondering what that was about. I looked down at my hand and you had slipped me a fifty dollar bill. I asked what that was for and you said "for taking care of my baby. " I said I did it because I wanted to and you said "I'm giving you this because I want to." I spent another 30 minutes trying to talk you out of it but you wouldn't take it back. I'll never forget that. 

I'm going to miss our talks about our grandbabies and our laughs about "partying" together (my partying days are over.) And, I'm going to miss that fireman you promised to hook me up with. I'm going to miss YOU.

To the whole Ahlfield family, I am very, very sorry to hear about Davida.  We would always trade jabs at each other in jest and that's what I will always remember about her.  To my dearest Maria, Karen and I love you very much and will always there for you if you need anything.

Snding all my love and prayers to the family of Davida . My heart aches for all of you . My fondest memory of Davida is the time we spent devoted to the Madison heights Wolverines , selling 50/50 tickets during the freshman game , we had set a record for the most tickets sold.  With her beautiful smile added with That charm , she could always sell those tickets with finesse ,and if that didn’t work my job was to  shame them into it . It seem to always work , but all in fun and for a good cause . Another great memory was the night she came over with a huge pack of toilet paper , and together we decided that Jerry Binkley needed to decorate his house before the super bowl game  , some people called it evil we called it good luck before the SUPER-BOWL GAME   , we did a perfect job in stealth mode , we had so much fun and tons of laughs , it must of worked because our kids won the Super Bowl  that year .. That weekend on we became great friends there were so many more memories through the years.. she will always be missed but never forgotten as she touched so many with her natural ability to do so ,  she had a special way of always knowing when I needed a friend and when I needed a little fun in my life , I will never forget her ... until we meet again my friend. I met Davida and the whole Ahlfield family 45 years ago. They were our neighbors in Madison Heights and also camped with us at Brendal Lake.  Davida was just a few months younger than my twins, and we spent a lot of years as a large family. She was such a special girl, like having a firecracker for a friend.  Our family is so sad for the loss of such a woman, we will miss her, and keep her in our hearts.

My heart is broken. I have been friends with D for sometime. She was a beautiful woman with always a kind word. Many years ago, we went to a wedding together and her Mom was dancing it up having a good time, when she broke her ankle. The many nights just talking and having a drink and no matter what, you always had the right things to say. To the Family of my dear friend, I’m truly sorry to hear about your loss of this wonderful loving and caring person. Heaven has gained a true angel. Dee, watch over me God knows I need it. Your a true friend and you will never be forgotten...✝️✝️✝️

I meet Davida over 17 years ago and she always had a smile from ear to ear. We met working in an office I was very nervous but she got me to relax and have fun. Remembering how much she loved her kids and the stories she would tell  and yes they were all good of course. But I have to say Davida was always a kind, loving, caring, energetic,  wonderful woman, mother, co worker never the less you always wanted to be around her because she was full of love, joy and happiness.  So sending prayers for Davida's family and her bestie Lisa my heart goes out to you. Sorry I can't make to say see you later but I will be thinking about everyone.

The Howard family is so very sorry for your loss! We love you like  family.. If we can do anything for any of you at this time please just let us know. Tabetha, Luke and DJ our grandfather's have been the best of friends for forever you are family and always have been. Their is nothing we won't do for you! My father Keith won't be able to attend and he is very sorry and sends his condolences. Sending my thoughts and prayers!

I have known Davida since JRHS. But we connected best at HPHS, we were in several classes together, but the best was in our art classes. She was always there with a smile and a joke. We played a few practical jokes on Mr. Burns, JB for those close to him. He called us his girls. Just Beastly. Anyways, after HS like so many we lost touch, but reconnected around 10 years ago, it was like no time had lapsed. I have enjoyed chatting with her over the years. And had a lot of respect for so many of the things she believed in. Her commitment with helping so many out there was amazing, whether it be with the police, the fire, children's charities or friends in need. When ever she was needed for prayers or a kind word of encouragement she was there. May she rest in the promise of eternity with our Lord. May her family and close friends find comfort in her memories and love. I know she loved her family so much. God's Blessings. RIP.

Davida’s family and mine go way back when her mom and mine worked together at Halfman. My heart goes out to Davida’s family, especially her children and grandchildren! Know that I am here for you, should you need anything!! 

The entire Otterson family would like to offer our condolences to Davidas family. Our families go way back to when we all cheered for the Wolverines or our brothers played football for the Wolverines.  We are deeply sorry to hear of Davidas passing.  I shared alot of laughs with her and she will he greatly missed by many many people. May God hold all of you up during this very difficult time.
