Dennis "Denny" Wands, age 52, passed away on December 26, 2021. Dennis is survived by his two children, Austin and Emma Wands; his mother, Martha Wands; his girlfriend, Holly Boven; his brothers, Steve (Dawn) Wands and Craig Wands; and his nieces, Lauren (Frank) Wands and Morgan Wands.
Dennis did not have the easiest life, living a large portion of it with Kidney Disease. Despite this, every day he dedicated his life to his children and God. Denny worked for All American Plywood since the age of 12 and this company has also become like family to him. All American Plywood would argue Denny was the best Plywood Salesman there ever was!
Denny had two German Shepherds (Maverick and Harley) that he loved more than anything. If Denny had it his way, every dog in the tri-county area would be living on his 11 acre property (goes to show how much of sucker he was for dogs!) Denny loved to golf, ride his motorcycle and vacation to Mexico.
The family will greet friends at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road in Madison Heights on Monday, January 3rd and Tuesday, January 4th from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Denny's memory to The National Kidney Foundation.
