Great-grandmother of Alaina, Bella, Mikey, Maria, and Sofia. Sister of Wanda (Gene) Bostic, Gary (Rhonda) Smith, and the late Wylie Smith. Sister-in-law of Mildred Smith. Joan has been a member of Solid Rock Church in Hazel Park, Michigan for more than 25 years. Visitation 2:30 - 8p.m. Friday at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Rd. (S. of 13 Mi. Rd.), Madison Heights. Additional visitation Saturday, 12:30p.m. until time of funeral service 1:30p.m. at the funeral home. Interment at Great Lakes National Cemetery will take place at a later date.
