Lillie a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She was married over 50 years to her beloved husband Lewis M. Anderson, before his passing in 1999. A way Lillie showed her love was cooking for her family, cherishing every moment shared around the table. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, doing puzzles, and embracing the simple pleasures of life with those she loved. A woman of deep faith, Lillie was a devout Christian whose kindness and love touched everyone around her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Lillie was a cherished mother to the late Gary Anderson, the late Stephen (Debbie) Anderson, Renee (Gene) Harkins, and Shanda (John) Mustola; adored grandmother to Monica (Loren), Leanda (Chris), Cassie (Rob), Stephen (Kristen), Jeremy (Jessie), Brandon (Tony), Kiera (Dustin), Kendall (Michael); loving great-grandmother to Anna, Alex, Morgan (Jordan), Regan, Bailey, Charlie, Olive, Lincoln, Lucy, and Bradley.
A visitation for Lillie will be held Tuesday, February 4, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
The family will greet guests Wednesday, February 5, 2025, from 9:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:00 AM, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
Immediately following the Funeral Service, a committal service will occur at White Chapel Memorial Park Cemetery, 621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098.
