Marc was born on January 17, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, to Raymond and Louise Rozman. He was raised in Warren, Michigan, alongside his older brother Paul and younger sister Laura. In 1976, Marc made Royal Oak his home and married the love of his life and his best friend, Darlene, beginning a lifelong journey rooted in love, faith, family, and shared memories.
Marc dedicated 31 years of loyal service to Chrysler, a career he was deeply proud of and one that perfectly matched his love of automotive history and classic cars, especially Mopars. His knowledge of cars was vast, and he generously shared it with anyone who showed interest. Marc had a rare gift for making people feel welcome. He was kind to everyone he met, always willing to lend a hand, and known as someone who could fix just about anything.
Above all else, Marc cherished his family. He is survived by his beloved wife, Darlene; his sons, Chris (Kimberly) Rozman and David (Jennifer) Rozman; and his six grandchildren, Abbi, Kate, Emily, Max, Claire, and Harrison, who brought him endless joy and pride.
When Marc wasn’t with family, he could almost certainly be found at a car show, wearing his signature hat, camera around his neck, and happily talking cars with friends and strangers alike. He was an active and dedicated member of several car clubs, including NOMM, CEMA, WPC, Twisted Axle, and DAMM, where he formed lasting friendships and was a familiar, respected presence.
Marc’s prized possession was his 1969 Charger RT/SE. Cruising Woodward Avenue during the Dream Cruise behind the wheel of that car was truly his pride and joy and represented everything he loved about the car community.
Marc will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, a generous friend, and a man whose kindness and enthusiasm left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him.
He was a faithful member of the First United Presbyterian Church of Warren for 48 years, where he taught Sunday school and served as an elder and deacon.
A visitation will be held on Friday, January 16, at First Presbyterian Church of Warren, 3000 E. 12 Mile Road, Warren, Michigan 48092, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. A memorial service will follow at 6:30 p.m., with a celebration of Marc’s life afterward featuring cake and ice cream, just as he would have enjoyed.
