Phyllis Diane Barrett

Phyllis D. Barrett, age 75, of Madison Heights, Michigan, passed away on October 17, 2022. She is the beloved wife of almost 60 years to Robert M. Barrett; Cherished mother of Robert M. Barrett Jr. (Donna), Nancy Box (Steve), and Kevin Barrett (Soula); Treasured grandmother of Erin Box, Shane Barrett, Blake Barrett, Sarah Barrett, Ryan Barrett, and Allison Barrett; Loving sister of Judy Brooks (Gaylon), Ron Norman (Terri), and the late Harry “Butch” Norman; Dear sister-in-law of Mary Ward (Richard) and Thomas “Jim” Barrett (Linda). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis enjoyed traveling and trips to the casino, where she was often a Diamond Member. Above all else, Phyllis’s greatest joy and passion was her family, being a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will be deeply missed.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2022, from 12-6 PM at Edward Swanson and Son Funeral Home, 30351 Dequindre Road, Madison Heights, MI 48071.
