Two years later and I still miss you, Bob. You were one of the kindest, most decent, human beings I ever met.

So sorry to hear of Robert's passing. I knew him through his many good works in the community and greatly appreciated his sense of public service. My condolences to Linda and family, even with  the heartbreak and pain of this loss, you have many wonderful memories that I hope will sustain you during this sad time.

Hello, my name is Ronald C Sibthorpe. I met Bob when I joined Boy Scout Troop 1618 in 1967, sponsored by the St. Dennis Catholic Church located at 12 Mile Road & Stephenson Hwy where a Kroger grocery store now sits. I have so many memories of Bob, I don’t know exactly where to begin. So, I’ll share one, very memorable event: We were on a weekend camping trip with the Troop and Bob was preparing breakfast of pancakes. His preparation was unique, he is the ONLY  person I know whose pancakes were burnt on the INSIDE and raw - uncooked - on the  OUTSIDE! I worked with Bob's Mom, Betty Corbett in High School.  My husband and I bought our first house and Bob was our Realtor.   Bob had a great sense of humor and you knew who he was instantly.   He dearly loved his family.  I am sorry for your loss of this great man.   My thoughts and prayers are with his entire family.  ~ Alison Russell

I have know Mr. Corbett jr for a very long time and he is one of the sweetest and nicest people.  I will truly miss him.  He is now your ANGEL.

He was an amazing man,who married my husband rich and i in 2015. He was always joking about something,making people laugh. He will truly be missed. See you again someday bob.

I had the privilege of working for Bob at Century 21 Campbell years ago...he was one pleasant and understanding man to work with...prayers for all the family and those who knew him.

Oh Lord Linda, we are so sorry for the loss of Bob at a young age.
Bob was a quality man with a level head.  It was clear that he always thought of the residents of Madison Heights as he made his decisions on City Council.  It was a pleasure to work with Bob and to know a honest man who gave of himself.
We are sorry that we are out of state and unable to attend his service.  Our prayers are with you!!

Bob was one of a kind: A well educated, thoughtful and deeply compassionate man. He was marinated in Jesuit teachings and lived his faith, with humility, kindness and a commitment to helping others. He was a level headed city councilman, and, even when I disagreed with him, knew his thinking to be logical and trustworthy. I'm so glad he was Mayor Pro Tem. He earned that role by being the wise elder on council. His generosity for family and friends was well known. Our library never had a better friend. I learned much from him. Hugs to Linda, his large and extended family and all of his beloved coworkers, friends, and neighbors.
