Robert F. Stankewitz age 72, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2013 at Heartland of West Bloomfield. Robert was born December 4, 1941 in Detroit, Michigan. Son of the late Robert and Marian Stankewitz, husband of Vera, father of Robert (Suzette) Stankewitz, James Stankewitz, Carol Ann (Gary) Novak, Richard Stankewitz and Johnny Mosley. Robert is also survived by 12 grandchildren, brother of Bill Stankewitz,, Beverly Marciniak, Kathy Thomas, David Stankewitz, Darlene Drexter, Dan (Kathy) Stankewitz, Theresa (Ernie) Fradette and Mike Stankewitz. Robert is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday, December 12, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service 11:00 a.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Rd.
