Ron "Chief" Walters age 74, a long time resident of Madison Heights, Michigan, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2013 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. Ron was born August 29, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan. Beloved husband of Liz, dear father of Richard Aldrich, Kelly (David) Zagaiski, Frank (Rochelle) Aldrich, Rhonda Walters, Ray (Theresa) Aldrich and Alisha Jackson and the late Lonnie Walters. Loving grandfather of 22 and great grandfather of 4. Brother of Beverly (Rich) Hilborn, the late Butch Walters and the late Barbara Walters. Visitation Sunday, September 15, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. with funeral services on Monday, September 16, 2013, 11:00 a.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Madison Heights, Michigan 48071. Ron was a member of Amvets Post 29, Mt. Clemens, Michigan, motorcycle club and he retired from Jervis B. Webb Trucking in 1988.
