Salvatore "Sam" Russo

Salvatore "Sam" Russo age 89 passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at William Beaumont Hospital, Royal Oak, Michigan. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Candela), dear father of Anna Maria (Brian) Smith and John Russo, loving grandfather of Christopher and Sarah Smith.

Sam was born November 24, 1925 in Detroit, Michigan. He was proceeded in death by his dear parents the late John and Anna Russo, his sister the late Rita Palazzolo and his brother the late Anthony Russo.

Sam was a devoted family man. He worked for General Motors for Thirty-Four years in Electrical Engineering as a systems analyst. Sam also worked for Chrysler Missal during the start of the space age. He served in the Air Force during WWII and was an active member of this community. He enjoyed Italian culture, music and model aviation.
