I just found out today that one if my best friends passed away I am truly sorry for the family and friends he was my go to guy and he made trips out to New Hampshire to see me I miss you Steve I honestly hoped your phone was lost and I tried calling even today before the internet told me you were gone

My son Cullen, husband Arne and I just had a memorial party in Steven's memory at the Eagles Club in Interlochen MI Sat. Oct.11th. Alot of his friends could not make the funeral in Sterling Heights,so decided to have this event here where he lived for 6 years. We had two men playing guitar that were awesome along with food, drink and friends remembering Steven.  All in all it was a great celebration and Steven would have loved it.

Steven was our "second son" here in northern Michigan.  He met our son Cullen at SVSU and became good friends.  Steven lived with Cullen for 6 years and would come to our house for breakfast and dinner quite often.  My husband would grill alot and Steven loved his cooking.  We would have many in depth conversations with him about politics and life, and he was a very well informed man on many subjects. He will be sorely missed by us all! I met Steve at SVSU and thought he was a wonderful person!!!  I was surprised to hear he died. He will be missed.

I am in shock. Steven was a one of a kind, awesome guy to hang out with who always had a positive attitude and always was fun to goof off with. R.I.P, my friend since 1992. My deepest condolences to everyone who had the pleasure of having Steven be part of their lives. Beyond that, there are no words.

I will miss Steve a lot!  He was my friend!  I am very sad that he has passed.

Steve was a special  person at Flynn Middle School.  His positive attitude and pleasant personality lit up the hallways and classrooms.  It was a privilege and honor to have known Steve and to have had him in class.

To steve's family, I am so sorry about your son's loss. Steve lived upstairs from my son and family. I talked with him on so many occasions and what a proud, determined young man. My Grandchildren loved talking with him , and helping him so as not to get hurt. I pray for comfort for you all, steve is a very special person and will be greatly missed.

Steve will be missed by many my son Loved going fishing over there and Steve would come down and help him with where to cast into the lake at...my son told me Steve was very good at fishing because Junior would always catch a fish when he would cast where Steve told him too!!!
