Tammy was a devoted mother and grandmother whose greatest joy was caring for her beloved grandson, Oliver. She poured her heart into her family. Tammy also took great pride in her role as a cheerleading coach for several seasons, where she encouraged confidence, teamwork, and dedication in the young athletes she mentored. In addition, she worked at Entertainment, where her energy and commitment shone through.
Tammy is reunited in death with her husband, Steven Michael Mowry; her son, Jacob Mitchel Lee Mowry; her mother, Rosemary Somers; her father, William Somers; her father-in-law, Danny Mowry; and her sister-in-law, Kathy Moore.
She is survived by her daughter, Katie Rae Cunningham, and her cherished grandson, Oliver William Cunningham. She is also survived by her sisters, Victoria Linsley (David Linsley), Tina Brammer (Ed Brammer), Robin Somers; her brother, Shaun Somers; her mother-in-law, Delores Mowry; and her brother-in-law, Tony Mowry. Tammy was a loving aunt to her nieces and nephews, including Brendon, Linsley, Isabel, August Mowry, Meghan, and Cassidy Moore, who held a special place in her heart.
Funeral services will be held on January 31, 2026, at Edward Swanson and Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. A committal service will take place at Oakview Cemetery at 1:00 p.m.
Tammy will be remembered for her devotion to family, her caring spirit, and the love she gave so freely. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
