Wayne L. McPherson age 74 a resident of Clinton Township, Michigan died Wednesday July 14, 2010 at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital, Clinton Township, Michigan. Wayne was born December 19, 1935 in Royal Oak Township, Michigan.

Wayne retired from the Hazel Park Fire Department as Fire Marshall. Wayne is survived by his wife Sandra, his sons Daniel McPherson of Clinton Township, Michigan, Leo (Pamela) McPherson of Casco, Michigan, his step children Brian (Cindi) Walker of Sterling Heights, Todd Walker of Sterling Heights, Stacy Byrnes of Troy, Michigan and the late Kevin Walker. Wayne is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, his sister Juanita (Stanley) Payne of Rockwood, Michigan and his brother Ruel (Gail) McPherson of Hazel Park, Michigan. Wayne was predeceased by his parents the late Orin and the late Dorothy (Berndt) McPherson, his brother the late Dick McPherson, and his first wife the late Gloria. Visitation Saturday July 17, 2010 from 3-8 p.m. and Sunday July 18, 2010 from 2-8 p.m. with funeral services Monday July 19, 2010 12:30 p.m. at Edward Swanson & Son Funeral Home 30351 Dequindre Madison Heights, Michigan. Burial Christian Memorial Cultural Center Rochester Hills, Michigan. Wayne was a member of the Hazel Park Eagles and the Metropolitan Club. Memorials to American Cancer Society.
