Clyde Allen Gunter Jr.

Clyde Allen Gunter, 73, of Madison Heights passed away Saturday, August 10, 2019, at Lynchburg General Hospital. Born August 31, 1946, in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Clyde Allen Gunter, Sr. and the late Margaret Louise Hendricks Gunter. Clyde was a retired fabricator for Englander Wood Stoves. In addition to his parents, Clyde was preceded in death by one brother, Ronald Edward Hendricks. Clyde is survived by his special friend of 41 years, Cerise Gallaher of Madison Heights; two brothers, Cecil Wayne Gunter and James William Gunter; one sister, Betty Jean Gunter; and other loving family members and friends. There are no scheduled services at this time. The family would like to express a special thank you to Clyde’s aide, Theresa Ford for her loving care.
