Donald Allen Hart Sr.

Born August 12, 1945 in Windber, PA, he was the son of the late Ernest Melchoir Hart and Olive Lorraine Plummer Hart and was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. In addition to being a minister and former Pastor, Rev. Hart was a retired brick mason. He was a member of Gracepointe Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Hart is survived by six children, Alice (Lori) Hart of Baltimore, Lisa Tucker and husband Lamonte of Williamsburg, Donald Hart, Jr. of Baltimore, John Hart and wife Susanna of Atlanta, Stacie Taylor and husband Matt of Forest, and Joel Hart and wife Stephanie of Lynchburg; one step-son, Brent Bathon and wife Peggy of Vermont; one sister, Carol Kaydo and husband Bob of Ashtabula, OH; nineteen grandchildren and five great- grandchildren.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Gracepointe Baptist Church with the Rev. Dr. Greg Tyree officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel, 3966 South Amherst Highway, Madison Heights and other times at the residence.
