

Faye Faulconer Clark Ford, 92, of Monroe, passed away Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Setara Woodview Nursing Home in South Boston. She was the wife of the late Haywood Spencer Clark for thirty-five years.
Born March 20, 1923 in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late Charles Andrew Faulconer and Myrtle Inez Floyd Faulconer and was also preceded in death by a sister, Lucy Leavitt and a brother, Hayes Faulconer. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Ford is survived by two daughters, Judy C. Wade and husband Ray of Rustburg and Susan C. Harris and husband Daryl of Halifax; two brothers, Charles O. Faulconer and wife Louise of Monroe and Paul W. Faulconer and wife Audrey of Madison Heights; five grandchildren, Clark S. Wade (Margaret Hunter) of Roanoke, Meredith W. Stewart (James) of Baltimore, MD, Betsy H. Ricker, Jenny H. Clark (Kenny) and Katie H. McClean (Matt), all of South Boston and twelve great-grandchildren, Finley, Archie, Spencer, Stafford, Sonya, Harrison, Benjamin, Olivia, Connor, K.C., Riley, and Carter.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m., Saturday, September 19, 2015 at the Faulconer Family Cemetery in Faulconerville with Pastor Sung Woon Yoo officiating.
The family will receive friends Saturday, prior to the service, from 1:30-2:00 p.m. at Whitten Monelison Chapel.
