Born in Nelson County, September 13, 1940, he was the son of the late Junior Dunning and Mary Tinnell Dunning.
Fred was retired from Philip Morris Co. He was an avid Harley-Davidson motorcycle rider for many years. Having retired near Lake Gaston, he also enjoyed boating and fishing.
He is survived by two sisters, Phyllis Reamer of Manson, NC and Donna Creasy of Madison Heights; one brother,m Wayne Dunning and his wife Hilda of Madison Heights; his niece, Sissy Meyer and her daughter Allison Worch (John)
A graveside service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 27, 2023 at Briarwood Memorial Gardens.
