James Marshall Brown, 89, of Lynchburg, passed away, Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Lynchburg General Hospital. He was the husband of the late Shirley Mae Smith Brown.

Born August 13, 1932 in Lynchburg, he was the son of the late Eddie Marshall Brown and the late Amy Thornton Brown. Mr. Brown was a retired, self-employed Auctioneer and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Force and served during the Korean War. He was a member of Thomas Road Baptist Church.

Survivors include, his son, William Marshall Brown and wife Jill of Madison Heights.

Services will be private.
