Jean "Jeanie" Elliott Elliott Inge

Born December 14, 1947 in Lynchburg, she was the daughter of Dossie Royer Elliott of Lynchburg and the late Lonza Abbitt “Pete” Elliott and was also preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy E. Hamilton. She was the retired Executive Director of Finance & Administration at American Hofmann Corporation and was a member of Smyrna U.M. Church.

Jeanie is survived by her son, L.D. Inge, Jr. of Madison Heights; her daughter, Becky I. Whitt and husband Bobby of Forest; a sister, Patricia Elliott (Jerry Williams) of Greensboro, NC; nine grandchildren Amanda Inge Jones (Ryan), Hannah Inge, Jake Evans (Amanda), Logan Evans Campbell (Ray), Dakota Whitt, Dalton Whitt, Gary Whitt, Jason Whitt (Heather), and Jonathan Whitt and two great-grandchildren, Livie Evans and Dixie Campbell.

A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 2, 2015 at Whitten Monelison Chapel with Pastor J.D. Surbaugh, Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the service until 8:00 p.m.
