I worked with Lou a long time ago, I did her filing back in the old days, in the 80's.  She was fun to be with and always had a smile on her face.

We went to school with Lucinda. Remember her smile and friendliness. Such a nice person.

I worked with Lue for 46 years at Dodson Bros.  She was a special lady.  As a trainer, I would make a new Secretary/CSR aware that Lue would be calling to help them understand when they had done something the wrong way.  I would say "She sounds like a bear on the phone but she truly has a heart of gold".   She wanted things done by the book.  Not only a fellow employee but a true friend.  Whenever I was in Corporate Office she was hitting me up to buy Moose Lodge raffle tickets for one cause or the other.  Bought many, many tickets....never won a darn thing!  I will miss you my friend.   Rest in Peace.

I've know Lucinda since I was 9 years old.  She was a great friend and neighbor, and sometimes, my protector.  I babysat all of her children, I went with Lue to Drug Fair and the grocery stores too. And, since she did not like to wrap presents, she would bribe me to do it with brownies and eggnog and lots of laughs.  Not a day goes by that I don't look out my kitchen window and see her old house and think of the fond memories there.  Lue was funny, she could be serious too.  Whenever I saw her out, I always used her complete name, which made her laugh!  Belinda, Timothy, Amy and Greg; you are all in my heart, in my prayers and I know you miss her so much already.  We will all see her again. Love to you all.

I worked with Lue for 20 years. We had our ups and downs, but I remember her fondly.

I am sitting here laughing with tears in my eyes as well at all the previous posts I have just read from all of our Awesome Dodson Employees. That is exactly what I would say also when Lue called, I knew if she was calling me I had did something wrong...lol

She was a great person to work with and I will also miss talking to her on the phone.  She will be missed!

I never had the pleasure of meeting Lue in person but, without her help when I first started here at Dodson I don't think I would've made it past the first few months. I made so many mistakes but, she was always so kind in the way she corrected me and explained to me how it should be done. She was one of the toughest people I have gotten to know and has helped so many in this company in so many ways. I will miss talking with you Lue. Rest easy sweet lady. 

I only saw Lue in person maybe 4 or 5 times in my 29 years at Dodson, but spoke with her  over the phone often.  As soon as I would hear that voice say my name I would ask what have I done now.  These past few months I have missed talking and laughing with her.   Thoughts and prayers for her family.  RIP Lue, you will be missed.

I haven't been with the company long, but any time I needed help Lue was willing. She was always sweet to me. This was such a surprise. She will be missed be so many. She was so dedicated to what she did and helping people in the company no matter how long you had been there.


Lue was one of the 1st people I come to know rather quickly when I began my career at Dodson. Everytime I would see she was calling, I knew that once again I had done something wrong.  she used to laugh at me when I would answer the phone with "what did I do this time".  She was very patient with me, although there were times I'm sure she wanted to wring my neck.  You will be dearly missed Ms. Lue!

From the day I started at Dodson, Lue was always kind, helpful and she would rib me for some of my dumb mistakes. She made me feel welcome from the first day. I will miss our chats about our families and our lives. She was a true blessing. We never met in person but I loved her like I have known her my whole life. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. Lue you will be greatly missed. Fly high my friend.

I loved Lue, she was always willing to help you when ever you needed it. She would call me if I did something wrong and ask me how long I have worked for Dodson. A lot of the times it was something that I had been doing for years, then she would catch it and correct me. 

Lue you will truly be missed.
