Mary Virginia Goff
21 November, 1924 – 8 May, 2019
IN THE CARE OF

On Wednesday, May 8, 2019, surrounded by her family, Virginia took Jesus’ hand and went Home where she was met by her parents, Robert and Estelle Brooks; her sister Sarah Abbott; her great grandson Brandon Goff; daughter-in-law Caroline Goff; niece Connie Tomlin and nephew Wayne Tyree.
Virginia is survived by her son Lyle Goff, Sr.; three grandchildren, Kelly Smith (David), Patricia Miller (Anthony) and Lyle Goff, Jr; seven great grandchildren, Christopher, Sierra, Zachary, Mackenzie, Ava, Aaliyah and Donovan; and a niece, Wanda Milton, all of Madison Heights.
Virginia was a member of Sandy Bottom Christian Church, and retired from Craddock Terry.
A celebration of life will be held 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 13, 2019, at Whitten Monelison Chapel with the Rev. Jim Freeman officiating. Interment will follow at Meade Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service and at other times at the residence of Kelly Smith.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Humane Society of Amherst County.
