

Born on December 10, 1933 in Westfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Steven R. Stevens, Sr. and Catherine C. Stevens. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 15 years, Finis Fleming; sister, Joyce Yarusi and her brother, Steven R. Stevens, Jr.
She was a very hard worker throughout her life and prior to her retirement, she worked as a waitress. She was very generous and would give you the shirt off of her back. She often did without so that she could do for those that she loved and cared about. She was very talented with knitting, crocheting and quilting. After she retired, she loved to spend time in the garden. She belonged to the Red Hat Society and often volunteered her time to numerous organizations in Amherst. She was a member of St. Francis Assisi in Amherst.
She is survived by her daughters, Robin Shuler of Madison Heights (Donald) and Denise Carrico of Baja, CA; grandchildren Andrew Shuler, Patrick Shuler (Jadee) and Nathan Shuler (Fiona); great-grandchildren, Charlee Shuler, Amaya Shuler, Sonora Shuler, Cash Shuler, Jack Shuler, Finlay Shuler and one on the way; and her sister, Caroline Clayton of Langhorne, PA.
Services will be held and announced at a later date.
