Raymond Glen Hicks Jr.

Raymond Glen Hicks, Jr., 63, of Amherst, passed away, Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at his residence. He was the husband of Nancy Falls Hicks for forty-three years.

Born February 26, 1947 in Lynchburg, he was the son of Raymond Glen Hicks, Sr. and Eleanor Sale Hicks of Madison Heights. He was a union truck driver for twenty-five years and a Mail Contractor with M.C. of A. and Valley Express.

In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by two daughters, Vanessa Fox and husband, Chuck of Forest and Jennifer Tuggle and husband, Barry of Amherst; three grandchildren, Olivia Fox, Cameron Fox, and Claire Tuggle and his special little pets.

A graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 6, 2010 at Briarwood Memorial Gardens with the Rev. Glynn Coleman officiating.

The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 p.m., Friday, November 5, 2010 at Whitten Monelison Chapel and other times at the residence.
