She was born in Amherst County, October 30, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Abraham Lincoln Johns and Lillie Duff Johns. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert D. Hicks and one brother, Gable Johns.
Stella was a homemaker and loved word puzzles.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the nurses and staff of Centra Hospice and her niece Kathy Laughlin and her husband Ken for the excellent care they provided.
