In loving memory of Edward Wayne Wolfe, “Eddie”, 68 of Nitro, passed away Monday, June 30, 2014. He was born in Putney on August 31, 1946, a son of the late Edward and Roena Wolfe. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Tom and Jenny Wolfe and Ollis and Flora Mack. He is survived by his sons, Robert “Robbie” Wolfe and Richard “ Ricky” Wolfe; his brother, Allen (Judy) Wolfe; granddaughter, Alexis Wolfe; niece, Kara Garten; nephew, Chad Wolfe; and long–term companion, Diane Wolfe-Coll. Eddie served his country in the Vietnam War and was retired from DuPont Plant in Belle. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 6, 2014, at Big Bottom Missionary Baptist Church, Campbells Creek, from 2:00 - 4:30 p.m.and the speakers will be Raymond Cobb, Ed Jarrett and Paul Henderson. In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made in Eddie’s name to Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, 4203 Salines Drive, Malden, West Virginia 25306, to help with final expenses.
