Frank William “Bill” Dustin, was born February 24, 1930 and departed this life July 3, 2018 at the age of 88. He was born in Kanawha County to the late James Tilden and Lula May Dustin. He was a retired wall guard specialist and painter at CAMC Memorial Division with 30+ years of service.
Bill loved the Lord more than anything. He attended Maranatha Fellowship in St. Albans where he was an usher until he became ill and then watched services on the internet. His love of his family came second. His desire to see each one of his family saved was a big burden that he carried. Bill could often be heard praying for each one to accept the Lord as their personal savior. He was a great husband, father, grandfather and brother. He especially loved to hunt and fish with his grandchildren. He also loved working on small engines and repaired many mowers for neighbors. Bill was always willing to help anyone in need.
Surviving Frank are his loving wife Mary Dustin of Charleston, four sons and one daughter from a previous marriage; sons, Randy (Susan) of Lost Creek, Daniel of Mt. Vernon, OH, William Frank (Melissa “Tiny”) of St. Albans, Joel of South Carolina, and daughter; Donna Jones of St. Albans. He is also survived by three step-daughters; Donna (David) Kinser of Cross Lanes, Linda (Charles “Ed”) Lovejoy of Cross Lanes and Peggy Ferrell of St Albans; numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, two sisters, one brother and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, July 9, 2018 at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor Joe Martin officiating. Burial will follow at Pineview Cemetery, Orgas.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
