He was born on August 12, 1956. Gary served as a member of the United States Marine Corps before becoming a successful tradesman. He was a very hard worker and always willing to help anyone in need. He never asked for much but gave so much in return.
He loved gardening and enjoyed growing food to share with his family and friends. He also loved watching movies—if he was in front of the TV, you knew he had found a new one to enjoy.
Gary was a loving husband, dad, stepdad, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He had a big heart and cared deeply for the people around him. Though he is gone, the love and lessons he shared will
stay with us forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dixie Lester and Jerry Diveley, and his daughter, Heather Diveley Fields.
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Diveley; his brothers, Jerry Diveley, Timmy Diveley, and Randy Diveley; his sisters, Sharon Kochmar, Peggy Smith, and Debbie Martin; his daughters, Billie (Jeff) Bostic,
Jennifer (Marty) Hughes, and Tara Diveley; his stepsons, Joshua Kidd and Hunter Kidd; his grandchildren, Bella, Jaxson, and three others; and his three great-grandchildren.
Gary’s presence will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
At Gary’s request, cremation has been honored, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
