Glenna was born in Charleston on September 29, 1932, to the late Charles and Velva Hughey Light. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Glenna was a member of Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church and sang with the Original Skiles Trio for 30 years.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters and four brothers.
Glenna is survived by her loving husband of 75 years, Herbert “Herb” Skiles; daughters, Debbie Stump, Diana (Terry) Easter and Lori (John) Lanier; brothers, Dennis, Keith and Gary Light; six grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 13, 2026, at Spring Fork Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Long officiating. Burial will follow at Elk Hills Memorial Park, Big Chimney.
A visitation with family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 12, 2026, and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the Church.
