Madeline was born in Putney on January 8, 1935, to the late Harry and Mary Mooney Butterworth. She was a homemaker and a Christian.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paskell Taylor; son, Fred Taylor; four brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by her sons, Tim (Lisa) Taylor, Chester (Mary) Taylor, Darrell Taylor; daughter, Patricia (Ronald) Bowling, all of Charleston; 14 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 21, 2016, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Anthony Moss officiating. The burial will follow the service at Montgomery Memorial Park, London.
A visitation with family and friends will be held Thursday, October 20th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
