Margaret Virginia Litton Martin

She was born on March 31, 1925 in Charleston to the late Roma and Dortha Lucas Litton.

Margaret was a loving mother, grandmother and friend to many, and was a member of the Riverview Gospel Tabernacle.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Martin; daughter, Dorothy Lindsco; sisters, Lois King, Eavelyne Fore, Carrie Sanner, Donna Smith and Gladys Hudnall; and brother, Conard Litton.

Margaret is survived by her daughter, Dolores Martin, with whom she made her home; sons, Don Martin of Hurricane, Dave (Nancy) Martin of South Charleston and Dennis Martin of Longview, Texas; sister, Louise Morris of Charleston; brother, Romie Litton of Hurricane; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2016, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with the Rev. Jerry Vance and the Rev. Tom Dodd officiating. The burial will follow the service at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation on Friday, May 20, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
