

Martha Frances Beasley, affectionately known as “Francie”, 71 of Charleston, passed away on February 2, 2026, at Kanawha Place Assisted Living, following a long and courageous struggle with dementia and several other illnesses.
Francie graduated from Charleston High School in 1972 and soon afterward began her career with the West Virginia State Tax Department, where she worked until her retirement. She was a faithful Christian and attended Restoration Baptist Church.
She enjoyed traveling with her cousins, Wanda, Peggy, and Sharon and especially cherished having the entire family together for holiday dinners, moments that brought her great joy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rushel and Jean Beasley; brother, Doug Beasley; sister, Joyce Holstion.
She is survived by her brother, Jimmy (Sherri) Beasley; brother-in-law, Darrell Holstion; sister-in-law, Marsha Beasley; and her special friend, Kylee Stover; also, several beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Kanawha Place for providing her with such a loving home. The residents, nurses, and staff became like a second family to her. Special thanks also to Hospice for their excellent and compassionate care.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday February 7, 2026, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden with Pastor Adam Hensley officiating. Burial will be at Beasley Cemetery, Charleston.
A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
