Mary Hope was born on November 23, 1948, in Charleston, West Virginia. She was preceded in death by her parents, Arna and Beulah Tucker; her brother, Donald Tucker; and her sister, Monta Cook.
She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Jon Adamson; her children, Tracy (Rob) Lutsy, Amy Adamson, and Jon (Crystal) Adamson; and her cherished grandchildren, Jacob (Claire) Lutsy, Joseph Lutsy, Luke (Casey) Adamson, and Kaysie Adamson.
Mary Hope was a 1966 graduate of East Bank High School. She was a devoted homemaker and an avid gardener with an exceptional green thumb. She loved to cook, and no one ever left her home hungry. If you knew Nana, you knew her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren. Her love for them was larger than life.
Honoring her wishes, Mary Hope will be cremated. A Celebration of Life open house will be held on February 8, 2026, from 1:00–3:00 p.m. at Family Worship Center in Chesapeake, West Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in her honor.
