Michael Jason Gibson, 38, of Marmet, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, following a long illness. Jason was born in Charleston on May 29, 1979. He was a 1998 graduate of East Bank High School and was an avid hunter and fisherman. Left to cherish his memory are his son, Tanner Michael Gibson of Racine; father and mother, Ronnie and Sharon Gibson of Marmet; sister, Betsy Ann Gibson; and brother, Scott Allen Gibson, both of Marmet; nephews, Mason Youell of Marmet and Hunter Weaver of Madison; special cousin and friend, Wesley Gibson of Marmet; and several aunts, uncles and cousins. The funeral service will held 12 Noon on Saturday, October 28, 2017, at Stevens & Grass Funeral Home, Malden, with Pastor David Clark officiating. The burial will follow the service at Marmet Memorial Gardens, Marmet. A visitation with family and friends will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
